Worth the walk.

Some of the best Highland views come when you simply follow a path uphill and see what is waiting around the corner.

Dramatic Highland scenery

Corrieshalloch Gorge

Two very different views of the same cracking spot — the gorge itself and the waterfall hidden amongst the surrounding woodland.

Corrieshalloch Gorge

One of the Highlands’ more dramatic natural sights. Corrieshalloch Gorge cuts through the landscape with steep rocky sides, woodland and rushing water below. The nearby waterfall adds another cracking view to the visit.

Worth knowing: Beinn Eighe is one of those places where the scenery changes quickly as you walk. The lower woodland sections and higher open paths give you completely different views, so don’t feel like you need to rush through it.
